You do not need to have a ticket to Paint Ontario to come to the Shoppe. Everyone is welcome!
Visit our Shoppe to view and purchase from the host artists, demonstration artists and artists associated with the Grand Bend Art Centre. The Shoppe is in the Grand Bend Art Centre Gallery Room
Host Gallery. When artists who have previously entered the Paint Ontario Competition agree to lend their time and skilled eyes to assist our Curator – (who needs all the help she can get) – with the installation and production tasks involved in mounting such an ambitious show, they forfeit the opportunity to compete.
To counter this egregious state of affairs, we offer these artists hanging space in our Host Gallery. The bonus for them is they need not meet the competition criteria. This means, for example, they can display over-sized pieces, foreign content, portraits, and work that is not in the “representational” style.
The Shoppe will be open the same hours as the show.
May 3rd to May 19th
Sunday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
We are located at 16 Municipal Drive, just across the parking lot from the Legion
